The Age of Aquarius Winter Ball 2016 Benefiting Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America
On January 23, 2016, The Age of Aquarius benefiting the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America held its Winter Ball 2016 at The Hilton-Americas Hotel, 1600 Lamar, Houston, Texas. This Winter Ball 2016 honored ABC–Channel 13’s Women of Distinction. The 2016 Winter Ball Chairwomen were Jana Arnoldy and Susan Arnoldy Hansen, and the South Texas Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America celebrated this special night as some of Houston’s greatest women were honored.
Being a Woman of Distinction is a recognition for these ladies as they are given one of Houston’s highest honors for volunteerism and community service. They have made a commitment to keep this city thriving for all Houstonians and continue to be charitable on their own record. This night was presented to raise funds to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. These diseases affect more than 1.6 million men, women, and children in America, of whom are under the age 18. More than 66,000 people in South Texas and 31,000 in the Houston Area. These digestive diseases affect people in your family, your community, and your city. This night supporting Crohn’s and Colitis Association of America (CCFA) empowers them to fund critical research toward better treatments and a cure, and to provide local patient support and education programs.
The underwriters, donors, sponsors, and partners include ABC-13, Mercedes-Benz Dealers of Greater Houston, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Additional thanks go out to the Winter Ball partners Gittings, Valobra, Master Jewelers, Glenwood Weber designs, and Tenenbaum Classic Jewelers.
